وصف الباحث الموريتاني حمود الفاظل انتخابات الرئاسة 2019 بأن القبيلة والعرق هما أهم مصوت في الانتخابات.وأضاف ولد الفاظل-وهو كاتب معروف وباحث في مقارنات أجراها- أن المرشح ولد مولود وجد أكثر الأصوات في تفرغ زينه وولد الغزواني في بومديد وكان وبيرام في أماكن معروفة.

 

وخلص الباحث إلي أنه لم يجد مؤشرات تزوير من خلال نتائج اللجنة المنشورة حسب قوله.
